THE HARSH "FICTION OF FACT" ABOUT THE FATE OF UNDERAGE PROSTITUTES

Until 1982, I did not know that prostitution of underage boys even existed. But then I read an article in the newspaper about this problem, and when I was filming TV documentaries from children's homes and diagnostic institutes, the topic came up again. Much more specifically. Often it was enough to ask: What did you live from that month that your parents and esenbachs were looking for you? and the boys sometimes described situations and attached details that proved that they did not invent.

It was clear to me that this is a topic like thunder and that I should try to process them…

But I had to wait until 1992 - only then could I start asking questions of those who were returning from Juvies and prisons or working in Swiss brothels. If I am correctly informed, their population consisted of ninety percent Czech and Slovak juvenile boys.

Finding young prostitutes in large European cities is not difficult, you just need to go to the right places, and if a man pays for it - he will talk. And if they see interest, they add details.

I have met those who have become truly rich in this craft, and I have spoken to those who have lost their lives. There were three, maybe four dozen of them, and sometimes it was really hard to listen to them. I met the last of them in early 2002.

To be honest, they were mostly normal, quite nice guys, and I would like to thank them in this way. Without their willingness to patiently and often self-denying answer all my questions, this book would never have come into existence.

It is no coincidence that I was able to start writing it only six years later - in March 2008.
